Step 1. Download and extract the
30-day trial version of CZ Print Job
Tracker, then double click setup.exe to install CZ Print Job Tracker.

Note: If CZ Print Job Tracker
is installed on Windows
Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 2008, go to the installation folder
(e.g. C:\Program Files\CZ Solution\CZ Print Job Tracker), right
click “PJAdmin.exe”, then click “Properties”, select
“Compatibility” tab, set "Run this program as an administrator" in
Privilege Level and Click "Change settings for all users" button,
Set "Run this program as an administrator" in Privilege Level in
"Compatibility for all users" tab. Repeat this for "PrintSaver.exe".

Option 1: CZ Print Job Tracker is installed on a
computer that is not a print server e.g. \\CentralComputer
Option 2: CZ Print Job Tracker is installed on your
current print server e.g. \\PrintServer

1: CZ Print Job Tracker is installed on a computer that is not a print
server
e.g. \\CentralComputer
In this demo, there are three print servers:
printserver1,
printserver2 and printserver3 in your network. Add network
printers to the computer
\\CentralComputer
that has CZ Print Job Tracker installed.
Step 2. Choose Start
-> Printers and Faxes (or Devices and Printers).
Step 3. Click "Add a
printer" button to start the Add Printer Wizard, and then click Next.
Step 4. Click the "A network printer" option and follow the instructions on screen.

Step 5. The printer icon will be added to your Printers and Faxes
folder (or Devices and Printers folder).
The network printer names are like "Printer-Name on Print-Server-Name".

Step 6. Click
Start -> All Programs -> CZ Solution -> CZ Print Job Tracker 6.0 to run CZ Print
Job Tracker for the first time. If Preferences window doesn't appear, click menu
Print Jobs -> Preferences.
Step 7.
Click Refresh, select the printers you want to monitor in the list of
"Available Local / Network Printers" and click Add to add them to the
list of "Monitored Printers", click Save, and then click Exit.

Step 8.
All print jobs sent to these network printers will be tracked in CZ Print Job
Tracker -> Printed Jobs.

Step 9.
In Control Panel --> Administrative Tools -->
Services, if CZ Print Job Tracker service
has
not been installed yet, click CZ Print Job Tracker menu Tools -> Install CZ Print Job Tracker service.
Note:
The default account to run CZ
Print Job Tracker service is the Local System account that can't access network printers (e.g. \\print_server\ shared_printer).
In Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Services --> CZ Print Job
Tracker, change the Local System account to the account with which
you added all network printers
in Printers and Faxes (or Devices
and Printers) and has administrator rights on all network
printers, then restart the CZ Print Job Tracker service.

Option 2: CZ Print Job Tracker
is installed on your
current print server e.g. \\PrintServer
In this demo, CZ Print Job
Tracker is installed on \\PrintServer with
three shared printers: HP Designjet Z3100 44in Photo, HP
LaserJet 4250 PCL6 and HP LaserJet 5000 Series PS.

Step 2. Click
Start -> All Programs -> CZ Solution -> CZ Print Job Tracker 6.0 to run CZ Print
Job Tracker for the first time. If Preferences window doesn't appear, click menu
Print Jobs -> Preferences.
Step 3.
